Privat rooms and rooms for servants

The installation shows the period atmosphere of the castle's living quarters in the second half of the nineteenth century and the first half of the twentieth century. In the intimate environment of smaller rooms and lounges, besides original furniture and other parts of the picture collection, there are also many authentic personal belongings of former owners. Among the most interesting are also the collection of preserved table games. The tour includes 14 rooms. The installation was made at the turn of 2000 and 2001. The basis for it was archival materials and materials from the estate of the last owners of the castle, period depictions of historical interiors and above all the personal correspondence of the present-day warden with Franz Boos-Waldeck's last living descendant.
